Julian has been making & repairing instruments for over 17 years. Julian’s fascination with violin’s started at the age of 6 when he started playing the violin. His violin teachers husband restored violins and he would show Julian his current repairs before his lessons. Since then he has trained at Merton College under Keith Graves in Advanced Violin making, Viola making & Restoration. Julian has travelled across the world including US and China where he consults on violin making and repairing.
